This policy explains what PropTales collects, why, who we share it with, and what you can do about it. It applies to proptales.us, to any subdomain or partner domain we operate, and to the Stories published through the service.
The short version. We collect what we need to run the service and nothing for advertising. We do not sell your personal information. We do not use third party advertising trackers. Property photos and text you upload are sent to AI providers so that we can generate your Story, and those providers are named below.

Account data. Your access token, email address, name, brokerage, phone number and brand details if you enter them, your plan, and the credits assigned to you.
Listing content. Everything you put into a Story: the property address, price, facts, descriptions, highlights, uploaded photographs and video, floor plans, 3D tour links, and your agent profile as it appears in the Story.
Lead data. When a visitor submits the contact form on one of your Stories, we collect the name, email address, phone number and message that the visitor enters, and pass it to you. You become responsible for that data once you receive it.
Usage data. First-party analytics about Story visits: a timestamp, the Story identifier, the type of event such as a page view, how far the visitor scrolled, and whether they opened a tour. We record whether a visit appears to come from a person or from an automated client, because inactive Stories may be archived. See section 8.
Technical data. IP address and user agent are processed transiently to deliver the page and to protect against abuse. We do not build advertising profiles from them.
Payment data. Handled by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card number. We store an order reference, the amount, and the resulting credit.
PropTales uses a small number of first-party cookies and equivalent browser storage for sign-in and session handling. We do not use third party advertising cookies, ad networks, or cross-site tracking pixels. Story analytics are first-party and are not shared with an advertising platform.
To generate your Story we send listing content, including property descriptions, facts and photographs, to third party AI providers outside PropTales. Today those are Google (Gemini, for image understanding and captions) and DeepSeek (for narrative text). If this is not acceptable for your brokerage or your client, do not upload that content.
We ask these providers not to use your content to train their models where their terms allow us to, but we cannot warrant their internal practices. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to that processing. We will update this section if we change providers.

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Deleting your account removes your Stories from public access. Copies may persist in encrypted backups until those backups rotate out, within the periods above.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal information we will notify you as required by applicable law.
You may ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, and to close your account. Write to info@proptales.us and we will respond within a reasonable period.
Texas residents. Under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act you have the right to confirm whether we process your personal data, to access and correct it, to obtain a portable copy, to delete it, and to opt out of targeted advertising, sale of personal data and certain profiling. We do not sell personal data, do not conduct targeted advertising, and do not carry out profiling that produces legal effects. You may appeal a refused request by replying to our decision.
California residents. You have comparable rights under the CCPA as amended, including access, deletion, correction and the right to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined.
Others. If you contact us from another jurisdiction we will apply the same process in good faith.
PropTales is a business tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
Our servers are in the United States. AI and infrastructure providers may process data in other countries. By using the service you understand that your data will be processed in the United States and, for the providers named in section 6, in the countries where they operate.
Our designated agent under the DMCA and the full notice requirements are set out in the DMCA Notices section of our Terms of Use. If you believe content published through PropTales infringes your copyright, send a notice to info@proptales.us with: identification of the work, the URL of the Story, your contact details, a statement of good faith belief, a statement that the information is accurate and that you are authorised to act, and your signature. We will act on valid notices and we will terminate repeat infringers.
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top will change, and for material changes we will make a reasonable effort to notify account holders by email.
